Tim Rudman has an international reputation as a fine art photographer and darkroom printer working exclusively with film and wet processing and is widely regarded as being largely responsible for the current popularity of the Lith printing process and toning techniques.

He has written four best selling books on printing techniques and has been exhibited worldwide. His workshops in Europe, America, Canada and Australia  often filled overnight and his prints are held in permanent and private collections in many countries, including the British Royal Family and The Permanent Collection, housed in the Victoria and Albert Museum, London, UK.

A Fellow of The Royal Photographic Society and of the Royal Society of Arts, he is also a member of The London Salon of Photography and the Freestyle Advisory Board of Photographic Professionals in Hollywood. He served on the RPS distinctions panels from 1988 to 2022 and was awarded The Society’s Fenton Medal in 2013.

His most recent book ‘Iceland. An uneasy calm’ was released in September 2015.
