My name is Alec Pain. I am an experimental photographer and artist and I love using anything that takes a picture – whether that’s a film or digital camera, an iPhone or even a scanner to create photography and art.
My work is varied: from flowers, to quadruple exposed cityscapes, to street scenes and self-portraits. I have an unhealthy obsession with the plastic “toy” cameras made by Holga – and run two instagram feeds dedicated to them: www.instagram/thedailyholga and a new project called The Baby Holga project (www.instagram.com/thebabyholga) where a tiny camera is posted around the world amongst fellow photographers.
I also write articles for the US website www.shootitwithfilm.com which is dedicated to analogue film photography.
