Paul Foley is a dedicated landscape photographer who responds to the quiet, the discreet and the abstract, often striving to capture elements within the landscape that others might not consider as being beautiful or dramatic. His is a very intimate relationship with the landscape, and what lies in front of him and behind him are small matters compared with what lies within. His intuitive response comes from being totally at one with his subjects.
Paul gained his Fellowship of the Royal Photographic Society in both colour prints and colour slides, and is currently a member of the RPS Distinction Panel for Visual Art. He has held several solo exhibitions of his intimate landscape work and another is planned for 2017.
He runs his own landscape photographic workshop venture, Spirit & Vision, and leads workshops within the UK, and in America, Italy, Iceland and the Greek islands.
